Teasenz’s Kunlun Snow Chrysanthemum Flower Tea | Tea Review

by Tea in Spoons

Tea provided for review

Review: I admit, I’ve never had snow chrysanthemum before, but boy were the flowers striking – a dark ruby red center framed by bright yellow petals. The dry leaves had a sweet floral and honey aroma that was more earthy after steeping. The liquor was a dark reddish brown, which ended up staining the tea strainer.

As expected, there was a very floral taste, which was actually very similar to other chrysanthemums I’ve had in the past. However, I found the liquor much sweeter. I think that this would be nice iced, but it was refreshing either way (3/5 rating).
