Ocharaka’s White Peach | Tea Review

Description:  “Peach is a staple flavour for tea, but it has to be done just right so it tastes natural and juicy!”

Review: The first thing I have to admit is that when I first saw the name of the blend, I assumed it was a white tea blend. Therefore, when I smelled the tea, I was very surprised that it was a black tea instead! The dry blend does smell like a sweet and juicy pear, so I was excited to try it!

While the wet blend doesn’t have a strong peach aroma, the hot liquor was lovely to sip on because there is a nice whiff of peach. The liquor is actually sweet, with some mild earthiness. I didn’t get strong notes of peach and it ended with a bit of astringency at the back of the throat. I found this tea very comforting to drink, and I think it would taste very refreshing iced (3.5/5 rating).
