CitizenTea’s Lemon Green Oolong | Tea Review

I loved how this one smelled right off the bat! The dry blend had a lovely citrus smell from the lemon peels!

Description: “Green oolong blended with lemon and sweet pineapple.”

Review: The overpowering smell in the blend (in a good way) was the lemons. It was the first and foremost smell, in the dry and wet blend, as well as in the liquor itself. I think it was very true to its name smell-wise, which is always a nice start.

As for the liquor, it was almost clear, with a tinge of yellow. It first reminded me almost of a lemon candy, but it wasn’t as sweet as one. Allowing this to cool actually mellowed out the lemon flavour and made it a bit more subtle, and it also let the lemongrass shine through. This had a nice, clean, and refreshing taste. I really enjoyed it (3.5/5 rating)!
