What drew me to this blend is the lovely smell of lemons! I also loved how pretty the blend was with the berries and flower petals.
Description: “A light and citrusy herbal blend packed with vitamin C.
Review: As always, my blog does not rate teas based on any wellness claims, only the senses. With that being said, this one smelled lovely – very citrusy, fruity, and sweet. It reminded me of lemon candy, in a good way! There was also a strong lemony smell from the wet blend after infusion and yellow-gold liquor.
Since the common smell was lemon and citrus, it was no surprise that the taste of the liquor was citrus as well. While starting off tasting like lemons, the flavour lingered in the mouth and coated my mouth. The aftertaste was sweet and floral and I was able to pick out some mild berry notes. However, when I checked the ingredients list, I didn’t notice lemon or even lemongrass!
While the name implies energy and activity, this blend was actually very relaxing and soothing because of its ingredients. I enjoyed this blend the more I tasted it. It also tasted refreshing cooled (3.5/5 rating).
