Over the weekend, I was able to take part in a Chakabuki here in Wazuka! A chakabuki, in short, is a blind tea tasting game that is played in Japan. I’ve never been to one before, so I thought it would be fun to bring everyone along!

At the start of the year, I mentioned I was going on a trip to Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Well, now I’m in Japan on my internship at Kyoto Obubu Tea Farms! My first few days in Japan have been quiet, so instead of doing a week at the tea farm (maybe I’ll do that in the future), I will be talking about the Tea Tours that Obubu Tea Farms hosts!

The 2018 Toronto Tea Festival was a whirlwind for me! There were many vendors and tea friends for me to meet and see, as well as teas to taste.
