Review: I have had JusTea before and I really enjoy the mission of the brand to promote sustainable fair-trade tea farming in Kenya, so I am always happy to see tea from them. This time it is a beautifully twisted black tea with a faint earthy aroma. The leaves completely unfurled during steeping and carried a very classic earthy black tea aroma.

For the first infusion, I actually steeped it for too long because I confused it for another tea I was steeping at the same time. Even when I over-steep a tea, I tend to still give it a try, just to see how it holds up. While there was some mild astringency, it had a nice sweet earthy flavour. I was very happy with that because at times, when you over steep a tea, it can become unpalatable.

The second infusion still had plenty of the same sweet earthy flavour. I found that the liquor was thinner this time around, compared to the first infusion where the liquor stuck to the mouth. I am pretty impressed with this tea because it is clearly pretty hearty! Despite oversteeping, the second infusion still had great flavour. I would like to try it again, for sure (3/5 rating).
