CitizenTea’s Calming | Tea Review

One aspect of tea that I really enjoy is making the tea and sipping on it. I find the process very calming!

Description: “A gentle blend of herbs to help calm the mind, body and soul.”

Review: At first, the dry blend actually did not have much of a smell and was mostly herbal-like. However, after steeping, the wet blend and the liquor had a nice citrusy and floral smell. I actually did find the smell very calming!

The yellow-orange liquor had a nice lemon flavour that transitioned into a more herbal taste with some floral notes. What was the strongest flavour was the lemon, from the melissa and the lemon verbena, followed by floral notes from the Marigold and mallow blossoms. There was a nice lingering sweetness and I actually did find it relaxing to sip on (3.5/5 rating).
