CitizenTea’s Almond Orange Green | Tea Review

I generally like orange and nutty based blends and this one combined both!

Description: “A green tea with a nutty almond and notes of citrus.”

Review: The blend was made of lovely dark green leaves, mixed with orange pieces and safflower petals. However, what I didn’t expect was such a cherry character from the smell. Once brewed, the liquor was a pale yellow with small dustings at the bottom and faint smell.

The liquor started off on a cinnamon note but that was quickly overwhelmed by the cherry flavour. Despite the name, the strongest flavour was cherry. It had a cherry candy taste, which overwhelmed the other ingredients. That being said, anyone who is a cherry candy fan may like this one (2.5/5 rating).

So sad to see that you didn't enjoy this blend! I'm not sure I would have either.
