The Tea Festival at the Royal Botanical Garden’s is one of the newer tea events that has popped up in Ontario, Canada. Since I was snowed in last year and couldn’t attend, I was excited to go this year!
Last week was the Canadian Coffee & Tea show and I wanted to bring everyone along with me! While I was there, I also took part in an iced tea workshop which inspired me to create my own recipe! Let’s go!
The 2018 Toronto Tea Festival was a whirlwind for me! There were many vendors and tea friends for me to meet and see, as well as teas to taste. I contemplated how to recap this event, so I thought that I would take you along with me as if we are going to the various booths together and show you my small tea hull.
I came across Genuine Tea when I was looking for Canadian brands to try. I admired that the teas were ethically sourced, organic, and sustainable. I was very lucky that David, one of the co-owners, sent me some samples of their teas to try, and I really enjoyed them! Last weekend was the 5th annual Toronto Tea Festival. I was very eager to go because of the speakers and of course tea! I attended both days and I was especially excited for Sunday because of the “Tasting with Tea Sommeliers & Tea Leaders” event.
