I always enjoy going to the Toronto Tea Festival. It is a great way to hang out with old friends and meet new ones!
At the start of my tea journey, many years ago, both Lu Ann (The Cup of Life) and Tegan (Amoda Tea) were instrumental to my tea growth. So, when Lu Ann became the curator for the Amoda Tea monthly boxes, I was happy, proud, and curious to see what Lu Ann had come up with!
When I first smelled this at the D by Daniel shop, it had a rich smell of vanilla and coconut. What’s not to love?
I still remember reading about Daniel and Renata serving this blend to Prince Charles! That piqued my interest because if it is good enough for a prince, it is good enough for me!
During the winter time, I can’t help but gravitate toward more winter-y sounding blends. I also visited T by Daniel’s Brampton shop, and I wanted to give a quick recap of my experience!
The 2018 Toronto Tea Festival was a whirlwind for me! There were many vendors and tea friends for me to meet and see, as well as teas to taste. I contemplated how to recap this event, so I thought that I would take you along with me as if we are going to the various booths together and show you my small tea hull.
Today, I will be featuring Deb from the Sugared Teacup and I will be also reviewing a Holiday Tea Box she curated for me. I came across Deb when I crossed paths with her on Instagram. Deb has been such a great part of my tea journey.
Ending off the year with an oolong and two black teas. I admit, one big reason why these are the last teas of the year is because of their names: “Wow!” and “Chocolate Mar-TEA-ni”. They seem like fitting teas to end the year off with!
