When I think of India, I tend to think of black teas from Assam and Darjeeling, so I have to admit, I am pretty excited to try three different oolongs! Two are blends, and one is a straight tea. Since oolongs can vary based on production, I am curious to see how these will taste.
When I originally was looking for tea blends, Bluebird Tea Co. was a brand that came up very frequently. So, when they had a sale, I was on it! Since I live in Canada, the shipping is quite costly, but I’m glad I followed through.
High Noon Tea reached out at the start of the year and offered some of their teas for me to try. They had a large selection, so I asked them to recommend what they thought would be best. I find that this a great way to try out what a company has to offer because I noticed that in the past, I would stick to a small selection of familiar teas. It is always fun to try out a tea that is a little bit out of my comfort zone!
I came across Pluck Tea when I saw a picture of what I call the ‘Instagram Changing Colour Tea.’ I reached out to ask if they sold sample sizes, and the company offered to send some teas my way. Today, I am trying their rooibos, herbal, and oolong blends!

As a Canadian, I always love supporting tea brands in Canada. So, when I realized 3 Teas offered sample sizes, I had to try some! 3 Teas advertise themselves as: “Purveyors of fine, ethically produced speciality teas from Burlington, Ontario, Canada.”
