Tea received for winning a contest
Description: “A fusion of energy and tranquillity from both Black and White Chinese tea.”
Review: When I originally received this tea the mail, the leaves were very broken. This may have happened during shipping since the tea was not sent in a bubble wrapped envelope or box. From my understanding, broken leaves may change the taste of the brewed tea.
That being said, the dry and wet blend smelled very grassy. The liquor was subtly floral with grassy after notes. It left my mouth feeling slightly dry and was a deep yellow. Since it was a black tea and white tea blend, the flavours were very delicate (3/5 rating).
