Petali Teas Moonlight Jasmine White green tea Spoon

Description: “A beautiful jasmine tea with the subtlety of jasmine blossoms and the amazing flavour of jasmine pearls.” – via Amoda Monthly Box

Review: I personally find that tea rolled into pearls look very pretty! While I am used to more round ones, the oblong shape of these ones were beautiful as well. Along with the pearls, there was a good handful of jasmine petals and white and green tea leaves in the blend.

The dry blend had a mostly earthy aroma with some faint jasmine notes. This surprised me because I was expecting more of a floral aroma. That being said, there was a strong jasmine aroma after infusing the tea. When I looked at the wet blend, I noticed that the pearls did not completely unfurl.

The liquor was a pale tan yellow with a very faint aroma and a thin mouthfeel. It tasted sweet, with some mild floralness. However, I found that there was a bit of a strange aftertaste that didn’t taste like jasmine or tea. I may have to give this one a retry and see if the aftertaste is still there (2/5 rating).
