Description: “Bold, crisp peppermint followed by a [tiny] hint of chocolate.” – via Amoda Monthly Box
Review: As a kid, I was never a fan of mint and especially not mint chocolate. However, lately, I’ve been enjoying mint chocolate blends! So, I was happy to see this in my box. While smelling the dry blend, I noticed that there was a strong peppermint aroma, as well as a lingering sweetness.
Both the liquor and the wet blend had a strong minty aroma. The liquor was dark tan, with a few specks of film. I find that this is common when there are cocoa nibs. I assume it is oil from it.
Taste-wise I mostly tasted peppermint with some subtle sweetness. I can see how it like a peppermint patty! One thing to note is that there is stevia in the blend; I know some people don’t like that. However, the stevia is organic. This would be a great blend for someone who enjoys peppermint with a hint of sweetness (3.5/5 rating).

Thanks for the review! The oil is from the cocoa nibs and the stevia is the leaf vs the white powder which has more surcose than plant matter. I’m not a big fan of stevia but this time but adds the right amount of sweetness. The peppermint is USA grown and tea hand blended Oregon. Thanks agian for the review!
